Rare British Lions Rugby Cap 1910.
Dark Green velvet rugby cap with gold braid trim and tassels embroidered Lion and date 1910 in gold to the front.
Made by J C Stewart Outfitter 106 South Bridge Edinburgh.
This Cap is from the Tour to South Africa in 1910 and awarded to Harry Jarman regarded as the most outstanding forward of the tour.
Sold at auction for £1000.

This cap was sold by Mullocks Auctions in 2009.
