Northern Ireland Football Cap
A dark blue international cap season 1971-72. This cap represents the 3 Home International matches v Scotland (Hampden, 0-2), England (Wembley, 1-0) & Wales (Wrexham, 0-0). Terry Neill scored his one & only international goal in the victory over England, their first at Wembley since 1957. The other inscriptions are for the European Championship qualifying games against the USSR (Moscow, 0-1 & Belfast, 1-1) & Spain, a 1-1 draw at Hull.
