This is a photo Of my grandfathers cap, he lived in the Rhondda (Tonypandy) he was 26 years old at this time, 1899, Can anyone recognise this cap?

Pearl, if it is Cardiff, then the lettering would consist of CAC somehow entwined. I can make out the C and P, is that an F? Also go with the colouring of the cap/ that is an indicator of the team or club. My best guess is a County Cap. Try and go with that bit for now. Do stay in contact. I'm curious now. Johnny Mc.

thought I might know, but seeing it up close I'm not sure. Don't want to say something wrong and reverse the trail. jmc
